Grant Marketing Wins 2008 Davey Award
The winners of The 2008 Davey Awards have been announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts today. Grant Marketing of Newton, MA was awarded the Silver Award for its creative ad campaign for Ideal Tape Company of Lowell, MA. With over 4,000 entries from across the US and around the world, the Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide.
The ad campaign conceptualized by Grant’s creative director, Bob Jaczko and designed by Grant’s art director, Grant Penny, depicts a woman in a backless dress with a roll of Ideal Tape’s “591 Self Wound” backless tape draped over her back. According to Grant Marketing president, Bob Grant, “The backless tape campaign was an instant success with Ideal Tape and has also won magazine achievement awards.”
The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
