Ideal Tape Introduces IdealSeal™ 777 Jacketing and Cladding Laminate for Ductwork and Piping Insulation
LOWELL, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IdealSeal 777 is the new, high-performance, multi-layer, total vapor barrier aluminum foil insulation laminate from Ideal Tape Co., Inc. It has been engineered to generate substantial cost savings through its simple, easy-to-use features that greatly reduce application time and material waste on the job. With high puncture resistance and extraordinary tear strength, IdealSeal 777 is virtually damage resistant.
IdealSeal 777 easily covers and fully protects ductwork and piping insulation under a wide range of interior and exterior conditions. When used outside, it can withstand temperatures below zero. Code compliant, IdealSeal 777 meets or exceeds all UL 723 requirements.
Especially designed for new construction and retrofit applications, IdealSeal 777 is high strength aluminum, finished in a choice of a smooth or embossed surface. Both surfaces feature Ideal Tape’s strong, patent-pending polymer layer and a precisely formulated pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive for a long-lasting bond.
The unique aluminum layering in IdealSeal 777 provides for optimum workability with easier application, repositioning and placement. As an environmental bonus, IdealSeal 777 is antimicrobial to prevent damaging mold growth and extend the protective life of the laminate.
IdealSeal 777 is boxed in the company’s new, unique patent-pending dispenser carton that steadies the laminate for precise cutting on-site, preventing roll-aways, fly-aways and waste, while saving time and money. A courtesy kit of installation basics (razor, straight edge, tape measure, pencil) is included for convenient measuring and cutting to size.
